Customer Success | Professional Services QA Specialist

Infinite Blue is the leading platform for resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery planning and response. We are in search of a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our expanding team. 

We are relentless in our pursuit of customer satisfaction in helping them build, mature and maintain resilient organizations.  As a QA Specialist, you will serve on the Professional Services team and play an important role in ensuring our solutions, initiatives and applications meet company quality expectations by testing and reviewing for proper functionality and identification of deficiencies.  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, implement and update quality assurance policies, procedures and standards 
  • Conduct inspection of application and platform updates, customizations, configurations, and solutions to ensure QA standards are met. 
  • Adapt to dynamic issues and requirements that vary from client to client in building and testing for QA purposes. 
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated), analyze results, report actionable findings to development via Jira 
  • Evaluate product workflows and triggers according to specifications 
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects using confluence 
  • Identify, document, and communicate deficiencies (report bugs, glitches, etc.) 
  • Conduct pre and post-release/ implementation testing 
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting on customer issues and provide solutions. 
  • Plan and conduct inspection and testing of products to ensure the quality operation 
  • Document quality assurance activities and prepare audit reports 
  • Analyze customer tickets and other non-compliance issues/trends 
  • Gather and organize statistical quality data to support continuous improvement 
  • Report on results of QA initiatives and activities 
  • Collaborate with Customer Advocacy (account management), Product Management, App Development and other teams on delivering high value projects and services. 
  • Document resolutions, trends, findings to improve the team knowledge base. 
  • Provide feedback to Product Management, Enablement, and other teams to improve products and processes. 

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • 1-2 years of QA experience on SaaS or technology applications or related experience 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills  
  • Strong detail orientation and analytical skills 
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams  
  • Knowledge of relational databases, HTML, JavaScript a plus  
  • Good time management, self-initiation, and organizational skills 
  • Must be dependable with a high sense of urgency  
  • Proficiency in English language 

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • 3+ years QA experience  
  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience  
  • Knowledge of relational databases, Internet technologies and technical infrastructures 
  • Working knowledge or certification in KCS (Knowledge Centered Support)  
  • MBCP, CBCP, or ABCP designation from DRII, similar designation or experience in BC/DR field 
  • PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt or other project management credentials/background 
  • Multi-lingual
